Thermal Wood is specially treated using heat and steam to further reinforce it to make it more stable and resistant to moisture and decay.

However, keep in mind that if you're placing your Studio Canuk piece in the harsh outdoors, our Thermal Ash pieces would be a better choice, having been specially treated to ensure that they hold up well to any weather.

If you'd like the option of extra stability, we also include 2 bolts for Pollyanna and 2 bolts for Mitty.
